Ordering Keys
We need the whole code, which is made up of two parts; the key series (or prefix number) and the differ number. The key series tells us the manufacturer and the type of key, the differ number describes the cut. This information is usually on the lock face, but can also be on the key itself. See the example image below.
The correct key for this lock would be 70534.
If we have the whole code then we should be able to supply replacement keys quickly & easily, however lock makers unfortunately don’t always stamp the whole code on the lock face or it may be small and difficult to read. All is not lost we may still be able to assist with a part code and images of the key and/or lock along with a little extra information which we can talk you through.
